What Readers Have to Say

The Dreamer of Downing Street (the prequel)
A supernatural mystery set in 1944 Denver takes you on a suspenseful, twisting ride.
Amazon
Barnes and Noble
  • This was an awesome book. I'm not usually a fan of fiction but this book captured my attention and made it interesting. I would highly recommend this book!
  • Set in Denver during WWII, she brings to life characters from a bygone age and weaves them into an interesting paranormal plot. Full of mystery, romance, and suspense.
  • As a confirmed bookworm, I read about 80 books a year. This was one of the best, most intriguing, satisfying page-turners I've read in years! I could NOT guess the ending.
  • The author has crafted a fascinating story of mystery, murder, intrigue, suspense, paranormal and love (with a few historical characters) all rolled into one.

The Accordo
(Book 3)
She's beautiful. She's deadly. She's dead. Well, sort of.
Amazon
Barnes and Noble

  • Although I won’t reveal the ending, I can tell you it was brilliant.
  • Loved it! Will continue to read RLS's paranormal mystery series.
  • Mickey McCoy could be the grandson of Algernon Blackwood 's John Silence - the Psychic Detective. I love them both.
  • The story is engaging, and the novel was fine to pick up and read without having first read the previous novels in the series. It is well written, and exciting.
  • Just the right mixture of paranormal, ghosts and mayhem. You'll love it!

Chapel Playhouse
(Book 2)
Enter if you dare. But beware of the madness that lies within.
Amazon
Barnes and Noble

  • Chapel Playhouse is an excellent mixture between a paranormal mystery and a sort of new-age gothic horror book, as it mixes supernatural elements with elements of the gothic horror genre.
  • Offers characters with strong, complex personalities and a plotline with twists and turns that will keep you reading till the very end.

The Secret of Lucianne Dove (Book 1)
Two souls transcend time to find the redemption they both need.
Amazon
Barnes and Noble

  • The Secret of Lucianne Dove has everything I enjoy in a book: Mystery, history, time-travel, and more. I loved it! It was amazing!
  • This is also a treat to the senses as the author creates the atmosphere of Virginia City for the reader to enjoy both in the modern era and as it would have been in the 1800's. It almost made me smell, taste and feel what the characters did as I read along.
  • I was a little hesitant to read this book because it's not my normal genre but once I started to read it I couldn't put it down.

Bouquet of Lies
Two wealthy young sisters find their lives at a crossroads when love and murder enter their world at the same time.
Amazon
Barnes and Noble
  • What a great book!!! I loved it and was sorry when I finished it.
  • Excellently plotted gothic type modern day suspense. Wasn't sure if I should spend the time on it as it had no reviews but I got hooked on the first few pages and read straight through.  Really loved the character growth in both sisters, and the amazingly twisted plot that was hard to guess what would happen next. Great, fun heroine in Lacey and a testament to all kind of love. One of the best plotted books I've read this year.
