Last week I drove to Burbank and stayed at my sister's house for a few days. My sister's birthday was the 4th and my fabulous niece played Chutney in the musical Legally Blonde put on by Burroughs High. The play was great and so was my niece.
My sister and I checked out Halloweentown which is a year-round Halloween store in Burbank. It was filled with fun things. But I really enjoyed the store Dark Delicacies which was just down the street. It is owned by Del Howison and his wife Sue. What a great guy! I wanted to find out about doing a book signing and he knows so much and gave me lots of useful advice. I tried to friend him on Facebook but he's maxed out at 5000 friends. I bought Dark Delicacies III Haunted and am slowly going through the stories. So far I've read two. I did enjoy Heather Graham's New Orleans haunted house tale. I was expecting the ghost, but not the . . . oh, well, no spoilers.
