Wow. It's been a while since I've posted to my blog. I haven't been reading novels. I've been reading other things. Plus I finished my latest novel and now I'm ready to get it out there. And I put together a nonfiction book: A Year in the Life of a Civil War Soldier. It includes my great-great grandfather's 1864 diary. He was a Union soldier. I'm just waiting on some comment from the people I gave proof copies to. Ahhh. I finished reading Turn of the Screw and didn't love it. Didn't even like it that much. I reviewed it on Goodreads, but felt a little funny doing so. It's a classic and greater minds than mine seem to love it. I find it tough to judge a book written in another era. It's like reading a foreign language a lot of the time.
